Resumo
A determinação da altura da lâmina d’água em canais abertos, particularmente condutos circulares, é um problema que apesar de bastante comum, não tem solução analítica explícita na grande maioria dos casos. O objetivo desse trabalho é a apresentação de uma metodologia que permite o cálculo da profundidade normal em canais de seção circular, em regime permanente uniforme, de duas formas distintas: uma numérica, iterativa e “exata”, e uma segunda explícita, de aplicação imediata, porém “aproximada”.
Abstract
The determination of the water level in circular pipes, in open channels is a problem that does not have explicit analytical solution in most cases. The objective of this work is the presentation of a methodology that allows the calculus of the normal depth in circular channel in steady state in two different ways: a numerical, iterative and “exact”, and another one, that is explicit way, with immediate application, but “approximate”.
